Can I get hepatitis C from rimming someone?

We believe hepatitis C is spread primarily by blood. There is a small chance it can pass from semen, but that is far less common. It cannot be transmitted during rimming. Hepatitis A however, is commonly spread during rimming and I urge you to get vaccinated against hepatitis A and B if you aren’t already immune. There is now one shot that covers both types of hepatitis. Unfortunately there is no vaccine to prevent hepatitis C.
